Broken Spring Replacements

Broken springs will be one of the most common repairs you encounter throughout the life of your door(s). Spring life is based primarily on usage or a cycle count. Springs are calculated to have roughly 7k-11k cycles under optimal circumstances. The more your door opens and closes, the more cycles are applied to the spring(s).

  •  We STRONGLY discourage attempting this repair on your own – EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
  • Some doors are equipped with a single spring, while others may have two springs.
  • We recommend replacing both springs anytime one breaks. Chances are high that the other spring may not be far behind.

Contact us right away to get your springs replaced today!

Preventative Maintenance

Routine preventative maintenance could help save you hundreds of dollars over the life of your door by catching minor issues before they turn into major ones. One great example is a bad cable. Seeing a cable with broken strands or frays on them is a sign that the cable is going bad. Once this cable breaks, your door will not open correctly and could get jammed or stuck. Preventative maintenance is a cheap and effective way to be sure your door stays in great shape all year long!
